Disha Patani In Ek Villain Returns: After eight years, the sequel of Ek Villain is coming at the box office. The Censor Board has cut some scenes in this film to give a U/A certificate to the story of se*x, violence and revenge. Otherwise the film would have got an A certificate.
Ek Villain Returns Censor Certificate: When the box office of Hindi films is yearning for a big hit, many people here expected that Ek Villain Returns would be able to do something amazing. At least the young audience will be able to pull this film to the cinema houses due to its suspense and hot scenes. But before the release, news is coming that shocking the film. The Censor Board, before giving the film certificate of director Mohit Suri, has put scissors on her considering some scenes as objectionable and has also asked to remove the abusive language. The censor’s attitude towards se*x and violence in films has always been strict. Especially when the stories try to show the real situation.
A rating would hurt manufacturers
Ever since watching the trailer of Ek Villain Returns, it was anticipated that this film would be given an A rating i.e. certificate for adults only. But if this happens, the manufacturers would have suffered. Especially Disha Patni’s hot scenes were attracting the youth in the trailer and both the heroines of the film Disha Patni and Tara Sutaria had made a lot of appearances and shoots in hot looks and made the atmosphere of the film. The censor has issued a U/A certificate to the film along with wielding scissors. The censors specifically drew the attention of the producers to two issues. One is the hot scenes of Disha and the other is the abuses in the dialogues.
These scenes were cut, these abuses were removed
The Examining Committee of the CBFC has asked Disha to remove the scenes in which she is in an intimate scene with John Abraham at a meat-cutting table at a butcher’s din. A glimpse of this can be seen in the trailer of the film. The committee said that either it should be removed completely, or it should be reduced. Later the sensor reduced its length by nine seconds. Along with this, butcher’s food has also been asked to be trimmed in those scenes where body parts are shown in the machine. Similarly, Sameti took objection to some words and asked them to be beamed or removed. These words include mentor, bitch, bi*, bastard and bastard. Following the suggestions of the censors, the length of this Mohit Suri film has become two hours and eight minutes. The interesting thing is that the length of Ek Villain, which came in 2014, was exactly the same. Along with Disha Patne, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria are also in important roles in the film. The film will hit the theaters on July 29.
